Operating instructions
Conditions of safe and reliable use
1. the instruction manual enables correct installation and use, or ensures the durable and safe work of the
device.
2. the device may be used only if it has been professionally installed and is in perfect technical condition.
3. it is forbidden to connect the water tank to the mains, if the device is not fully filled with water.
4. before the first start-up and after each emptying of the tank, the tank must be vented (see point
Venting).

7.water temperatures above 40 degrees C. can cause a feeling of burning especially for children.
Please also note that the armature (including batteries and pipes) can reach a higher temperature during
operation.

Installation
Floor or wall mounting
1. The unit must always be mounted upright with the water connections facing upwards, use the 6 fixing
points for floor mounting.
2. For wall mounting, unscrew the lower brackets and mount two of the brackets on the back of the unit in
the holes provided.
Connection to the water supply
If a pressure pump is used, a low-pressure f i t ting must be used!
(Figure 1.)
Blue = cold water inlet side (for f i l ling) blue.
Red = hot water outlet side (hot water demand) red.
When tightening the hoses, lock the unit connections with a 21st spanner and only hand-tighten.
The unit is designed for use in pressureless systems. This system allows water to be drawn from
a single draw-off point. Never use a shut-off valve in the outlet of the unit. The connecting pipes
must be installed as shown in the drawing.
Venting: When the installation is complete, turn on the hot water tap until the water (without air)
comes out of the battery outlet pipe.
For operation with foot, hand or small pumps, submersible pumps up to max 0.5bar Can
