Glass fuse, 5x20mm, slow blow, 250V

GETTING STARTED

Please place the voltage converter in a dry, ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat
radiators. The converter can produce a slight hum. Please do not place the converter on a wooden
board or a resonating surface, the board could amplify the humming.
Do not place anything on top of the converter and make sure that the ventilation slots are not
covered.
1. Connect your 110V device to the front socket (s) of the voltage converter. You can plug in 2-
pin and 3-pin USA plugs. Please note that the plugs are pinched, the plugging costs a little
more power than you are used to with European plugs.
2. Insert the plug from the voltage transformer in a grounded socket.
3. Switch on the voltage converter. The control lamp of the converter will light up.
4. Turn on your 110V device.

PROBLEM SOLVING:

1. The house fuse blows when the voltage transformer is switched on:
The circuit in question is overloaded, turn off any other equipment on the circuit before
turning the voltage converter back on.
2. When switching on the 110V device, the earth-leakage switch of the circuit trips:
Your 110V device may be defective or not suitable for operation in Europe.
3. When the voltage converter is switched on, the converter's control lamp does not light up:
The voltage selection switch has not been set to 220V. The device fuse from the voltage
converter has been blown.
4. When switching on the 110V device the control lamp of the voltage converter extinguishes:
- The converter was overloaded. The device fuse from the voltage converter has been blown.
- Your 110V device may be defective.
5. Control lamp from the converter lights up, but 110V device does not work:
Your 110V device may be defective.

REPLACING FUSE

The device fuse is installed to protect the voltage transformer. If the voltage selector switch is
overloaded or adjusted incorrectly, the fuse will break.
The fuse may only be replaced with a fuse of the same specifications (glass fuse, 5x20mm, slow,
250V). The fuse holder is located on the front of the transducer (plastic housing) or on the back
