Tout dommage résultant d'un non-respect des présentes instruc-
tions a pour effet d'annuler la garantie ! Nous déclinons toute
responsabilité pour les dommages consécutifs !
De même, le constructeur n'assume aucune responsabilité en cas
de dommages matériels ou corporels résultant d'une utilisation
de l'appareil non conforme aux spécifications ou d'un non-res-
pect des présentes instructions ! De tels cas ont pour effet d'an-
nuler la garantie.
Pour des raisons de sécurité et d'homologation (CE), toute transfor-
mation ou modification de l'installation, réalisée à titre individuel, n'est
pas autorisée.

Only clean the outside of the body fat analysis scales with a soft, slightly damp cloth
or a dry brush. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as
these may damage the device or impair its function.
Disposal
Dispose of the used body fat analysis scales in accordance with the valid statutory
regulations. Remove the batteries from the scales beforehand.
Disposal of flat batteries / accumulators
You, as the ultimate customer, are legally obliged (Regulation regard-
ing Flat Batteries) to return all used batteries and accumulators; dis-

posal in the household waste is prohibited!
Batteries / accumulators which contain hazardous substances are
marked with the symbols on the side. These symbols indicate that it is
prohibited to dispose of these batteries in the household waste. The
abbreviations for the decisive heavy metal are: Cd = cadmium, Hg =
mercury, Pb = lead. You can hand in your used batteries/accumulators
at the official collection points of your community at no cost or every-
where where batteries/accumulators are sold.
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to the protec-
tion of the environment!
Troubleshooting
By purchasing this system you have acquired a product which has been designed to
the state of the art and is operationally reliable.
However, problems and malfunctions may occur nevertheless.
For this reason, we wish to describe to you here how you can eliminate possible dis-
turbances yourself.
