Fastening
Observe the section „Safety instructions".
• The supplied fastening plate is intended for fastening it to a trailer coupling of a vehicle (see
next picture, left vehicle).
• Position the vehicle with the trailer coupling so
that it is aligned with the direction of pull (see
example on the right). Only this allows a safe
pulling of the load.
• Take appropriate measures to secure the vehicle against moving, apply the hand brake,
engage the gears and turn off the engine. Place suitable wedges to the backside of the tyres
of the vehicle.
• Loosen the locking bolt (see picture on the right) by turning it 2
revolutions in anti-clockwise direction.
• Now pull the required towing rope out of the rope winch. Leave at
least 4 rope windings on the rope drum in the rope winch.
• Fasten the towing hook in a suitable place.
Never wind the towing rope of the rope winch around the load to be pulled, this leads to
damage to the towing rope. Use additional suitable ropes, belts or chains.
• Tighten the locking bolt again hand-tight (ca. 2 revolutions in clockwise direction). Do not use
any force when screwing tight.
Use of the load hook with integrated return pulley
With the supplied load hook with integrated return pulley it is possible to double the traction.
Furthermore, the traction speed can be reduced to halve, and due to this it is possible to perform
a exceptional slow and careful traction process. Please pay absolute attention, that the rope has
been applied appropriately in the return pulley!
Connecting the cables
• Connect the plug of the cabled remote control with the respective socket on the rope winch.
• Then the plug of the battery connection cable has to be plugged into the provided socket on
the rope winch.
• No alligator clamps can be connected with the power supply.
Before connecting, check e.g. with the remote control of the vehicle or with a suit-
able instrument if the negative pole or the positive pole of the vehicle battery is
connected to the chassis.
For vehicles with the chassis as negative pole, connect the alligator clamp on the black cable
(minus/-) first with a blank metal part inside the engine bay of the vehicle, e.g. the engine block
or similar.
Then the alligator clamp on the red cable (plus/+) has to be connected to the positive pole of
the vehicle battery.
If the alligator clamps are removed after using the rope winch, the alligator clamp
on the red cable has to be removed from the battery first, then the alligator clamp
on the black cable can be removed.
Starting/stopping the rope winch
Observe the section „Safety instructions".
• Step out of the danger area.
• Take the cabled remote control and press the button on the handle of the cabled remote con-
trol to activate the drive of the rope winch.
• Release the button to stop the rope winch.
Using the crank handle
Warning!
The crank handle is only suitable for winding up the rope, e.g. when it is to be wound
up manually.
The crank handle must never be used to facilitate the motor of the rope winch.
The crank handle must also not be used to stop the load.
Operation of the rope winch with the integrated motor is only allowed when the
crank handle is removed from the rope winch.
There is a risk of injury; furthermore, the rope winch can be damaged by this!
• Loosen the locking bolt by turning it 2 revolutions in anti-clockwise direction.

Maintenance and cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for any
reason. Repair or maintenance work must only be carried out by a specialist.
To clean the product, disconnect it from the power supply and/or from the load to be pulled.
Clean the outside of the rope winch and also the steel rope with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
