Operation

Before first Use

Remove the unit from the packaging and check it for
damage in transit.
Keep packaging materials out of reach of small children.
There is risk of suffocation!
The clock can be used as a table clock or as a wall Clock.

Mode of Operation

This radio controlled clock automatically receives the time
signal broadcast by the official European standard long
wave frequency of 77.5 kHz. The time signal transmitter of
the National Physical Laboratory Braunschweig is located
in Mainflingen near Frankfurt/Main (Germany). The high-
precision radio signal can be received within a distance of
1500 km around Mainflingen (deviation of 1 sec. in 1
million years).
If the clock is out of range of the radio signal transmission
or has weak radio signal, the clock will still run as a quartz
clock, until it receives the radio signal again.
Place the clock at least 1 meter away from electronic
appliances (such as TV sets, microwave ovens, speakers,
computers or metallic objects). If you use the clock in
reinforced concrete buildings, place the unit close to
windows or other openings of the building.
Please note that strong radio and electric supply facilities,
airports, railway routes, high-voltage lines, transformer
stations, mountains, valleys etc. as well as neon lights and
