Please note the following safety notes to avoid
malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
 First read and understand the manual before using the auto-
darkening welding helmet.
 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are
not allowed to use the unit, unless they are supervised for
their safety by a qualified person or are briefed by the respon-
sible person how to use the unit.
 The auto-darkening welding helmet is not suitable for laser
welding or laser cutting processes and gas welding.
 Heat and radiation are released during arc-welding. The
welding helmet provides protection for your eyes and face.
Wear appropriate protective clothing in order to protect the
rest of your body. Never undertake welding without eye and
body protection.
 When welding poisonous gas will be formed. Use appropriate
respiratory protection.
 Never disassemble the auto-darkening filter cartridge.
 Before using the auto darkening helmet, check if all parts are
clean and inspect all parts for signs of mechanical wear or
damages. If there are cracked, scratched and pitted parts,
replace the parts immediately in order to avoid injuries.
 Do not expose the welding helmet to excessive temperatures
or strong vibrations and avoid strong mechanical stresses.
Never place the welding helmet on a hot surface.
 Please note that the welding helmet will not protect against
severe impact hazards.
 Never use the welding helmet when undertaking cut-off work
with grinding discs. The welding helmet is only suitable for
welding and grinding work.
