Disassembling the KE350/KE350G
CAUTION
Removing the KE350/350G
communication unit under
voltage
Damage to the KE350/
KE350G IL communication unit!
y Always switch off the power
supply for the relevant system
component before disassem-
bling the KE350/KE350G IL
communication unit.
y For reasons of safety, the
KE350/KE350G IL communi-
cation unit may only be in-
serted or removed at the earli-
est 10 seconds after the
power supply for the BT356
card rack or SB35x system box
has been switched off.

Proceed as follows to disassemble the
KE350/KE350G IL communication unit:
1. Switch off the power supply for the
BT356 card rack or SB35x system box
and allow for a discharging time of
10 seconds.
2. Loosen the front knurled bolts and pull
out the KE350/KE350G IL
communication unit.
3. Install a corresponding dummy panel, if
necessary.
