Cutting
For a good cut, swing the machine from side to side and
walk forward slowly. Hold the lawn trimmer tilted by about
30°. If the grass is longer, it is advisable to cut it in several
passes. Take care to keep the thread away from hard
surfaces because otherwise it will wear down very rapidly.
Keep the thread away from the stems and trunks of trees
and bushes, damage to the skin may weaken or kill the
plant.
Using the Lawn Trimmer for Trimming Fringes
To cut the fringes of lawn or flower
beds, the entire motor housing can be
turned by 180° in relation the handle.
Press the motor housing against the
handle (1) and turn it clockwise by 180°
(2). Now you can conduct vertical cuts.
