Before the first use, pull the nylon
thread out to the length of the cutting
radius. This is almost up to the safety
hood. Press the release button as
shown and

Connect the plug of the lawn trimmer
to the extension cord and clip the
extension cord into the cable clip.
Now start the machine and run it
without load. The thread length is
regulated automatically. The tread is
cut off at the safety hood.
The spinning thread will wear out or
break after some time. This can be
noticed from
performance. Press
trimmer down onto the ground or a
solid surface briefly. Pressing the
release unlocks the thread spool and
approximately
unwound. If the thread broke off, it
may be necessary to press the
release several times before the full
cutting length is restored.
