Set the pasting machine up on the short end of the table. The
lid must face away from the table when opened. Use the
included clamps to fasten the unit to the table. Fill the tub up
to the mark with paste.
The amount of paste which is dispensed is set by adjusting
the distance between the pasting cylinder and the sloughing
edge. To do so, loosen the turn knobs on the sides and move
the cylinder to the desired position.
As a rule of thumb, the distance between the cylinder and the
sloughing edge should be three times the thickness of the
wallpaper.
Turn the pasting through the paste. Place the start of the
wallpaper roll on the cylinder and move it forward until it rests
on the supporting rod. Close the cover. The pressure
cylinders now guide the wall paper over the cylinder. The
second roll also guides the wall paper back.
It is advisable to mark the desired length of wallpaper on the
table. Pull the wallpaper straight and not too fast through the
machine, please make sure everything is straight and in right
angles.
The roll can now be cut along the cutting guide with a sharp
knife. The sheet can now be folded together for soaking and
set aside. Follow the directions of the manufacturer of the
wallpaper.
Cleaning: The machine should be cleaned immediateloy after
use. Fold the cover straight up and take it off. Loosen the turn
knobs and remove the pasting cylinder. If any paste
remained, pour it out of the tub. Now all parts can be cleaned
with warm water.
