After cleaning, add a few drops of acid-free oil (for example, sewing machine oil) to
the cutters (6) and the shaving film (7) every so often. Leave the body trimmer
running for a few seconds without using it to allow the oil to spread out evenly. Then
wipe off any excess oil with a soft cloth.

Remove the comb attachment (8, 9, 10) if fitted. The comb attachments (8, 9, 10) can be
cleaned using soapy water. Then dry them well.

The housing of the body trimmer can be wiped using a slightly damp cloth; never use any
aggressive cleaning agents.

Remove any remaining hair from the shaver head using the cleaning brush.

For a more intensive clean, you can remove the shaver head from the body trimmer.
Using your thumb and forefinger, grip the shaver head in the middle of the cutters (6)
and remove it from the head part of the body trimmer.

The head part of the body trimmer and the removed shaver head can be rinsed off under
running water. Then dry the parts thoroughly. Do so carefully to prevent damaging the
shaving foil (7).

Using your thumb and forefinger, grip the shaver head in the middle of the two cutters
(6) and push it back into the head part of the body trimmer.

8.2. Maintenance

The shaver head of the body trimmer is subject to constant wear resulting from use.
DANGER! Stop using the body trimmer if you notice that the shaver head and/or
shaving foil (7) has become damaged. Risk of injury!
The shaver head must be replaced if...

you see any damage

you notice slight pulling when shaving or the shave is not as thorough as usual

it has become worn through use, usually after a year at the latest
