Troubleshooting - Westfalia GO-2005 Bedienungsanleitung

In case the air humidifier does not work properly, consult the following measures
for troubleshooting:
Problem:
Power LED does not light up.
Cause:
The unit is not connected to the power mains.
Solution:
Connect the unit to the power mains.
Problem:
The air humidifier is working but no or just a little mist is emitted.
Causes:
1. There is no water in the tank.
2. The unit is not placed on a level surface.
3. There is dirt, deposit or blockage on the water tank cover (13).
4. There is deposit on the piezoelectric element located below the mist vaporizer
(14).
5. Mineral water with gas has been filled into the tank.
6. The Piezoelectric element is defective.
Solutions:
1. Refill the water tank sufficiently with water.
2. Align the unit horizontally.
3. Clean the water tank cover (13) with a clean, soft brush. Rinse it out with
water.
4. Clean the piezoelectric element with a clean, soft brush with solvent.
5. Only use clean tap water or distilled water.
