Before first Use

1. Rinse the water tank (G) and the mist outlet (I) once thoroughly with fresh
drinking water before using fort he first time. Pull out the mist outlet vertically
upward for this purpose.
2. Make sure that the air humidifier is operated only on a safe and even surface
that is not sensitive to moisture.

Filling and emptying the water tank

1. Before filling or emptying the water tank make sure that the unit has been
switched off and that the power cord has been unplugged from the outlet.
2. Use the handle (H) and pull up the water tank (G) to release it from the base
(K) of the air humidifier.
3. Turn the water tank upside down and release the tank cover (13) by turning it
a little bit counter clockwise. Then pull it out.
4. Fill up the tank with fresh tap water or with distilled water (tank volume
approx. 3.4 l).
5. Put the tank cover back on and screw it on hand tight in clockwise direction.
6. Wipe away any drops on the tank.
7. Turn around the water tank into its original position and check if the tank cover
properly seals the tank. Water must not escape.
8. Place the tank on the base of the air humidifier. You probably will hear a
gurgling sound for some seconds. This comes from the inside of the unit when
the water flows from the tank to the mist vaporizer.
9. Do not carry the air humidifier when the tank is full.
10. Dispose of the remaining water after use and rinse out the tank with fresh
drinking water.
11. When you have switched off the unit and do not intend to use it for an
extended period of time, remove the tank and empty the water tank and the
device.
