Anwendungsbereiche für das Zentralmodul des
modularen Sicherheitssystems MSS sind
alle Schutzapplikationen mittlerer Komplexität.
Je nach Ausführung der externen Beschaltung
lassen sich Applikationen bis SIL3 nach
IEC 61508 bzw. PL "e" nach EN ISO 13849-1
realisieren.
Unter Berücksichtigung der Umgebungsbedin-
gungen müssen die Geräte in Schaltschränke der
Schutzart IP32, IP43 oder IP54 eingebaut
werden.
