Reset Function

You can reset or clear items set in the menus, modes
specified by buttons, and alarms as follows:
1 ALL RESET button
Press this button to reset the following; the multiplexer
then changes to STANDBY mode.
• Reset the time and date in the (CLOCK SET) menu
to the default setting.
For details, see page 37 (GB).
• The display mode on monitor 1 will return to 16
divisions split screen (default mode).
• The display mode on monitor 2 will return to
sequential screen (default mode).
• The information about the alarms displayed in the
(ALARM DATA) menu will be erased.
For details, see page 58 (GB).
Caution
If the unit does not function properly, press the ALL
RESET button.
Please note that all the settings mentioned above will
be reset.
2 MENU RESET Button
• While a menu is displayed, press the MENU RESET
button to reset all the values of the displayed menu to
the default values.
• If no menu is displayed, press the MENU RESET
button to reset the time to the nearest hour.
Note
For example, between 10:30:00 and 11:29:59 the clock
will be reset to 11:00:00.

3 ALARM RESET Button
Pressing this button when an alarm is activated resets
the following items:
• If the buzzer is set in the menu, the buzzer sound is
deactivated.
• The warning display on the screen is erased.
Notes
• Pressing this button if the VIDEO LOSS ALARM is
activated erases the still image or test patterns and
displays "NO VIDEO."
• Pressing the ALARM RESET button resets the
(ALARM SET) menu and (ACITVE REC SET)
menu to the default settings.

Clock, Title Display Operations

Even if the clock and title displays are turned off in the
(DISPLAY SET) menu, the display mode can be
selected by pressing the EXIT button. Also, when the
clock is displayed, it's position can be changed by
pressing the V (or v) button.
