Check and record the temperature in the vaccine storage compartment twice a day. If there should be any
discrepancy, check immediately if :
- the power supply is ok.
- the selector switch and the thermostat knob are in the right position.
- the rubber gasket is clean and undamaged, the hinges and catches are ok, so that the lid closes tightly.
- any ice has formed on the evaporator. If the ice-layer is thicker than 5 mm, the unit must be defrosted.
- the air circulation around the compressor is guaranteed.
- the cooling unit is dusty.

Clean the refrigerator in- and outside. Use only delicate detergents with warm water. Absolutely avoid using
aggressive or abrasive detergents, steel wool, abrasive sponges or chemical solvents. After cleaning, dry all
parts carefully. Never use any heating devices to dry the refrigerator.
Remove any dust from the compressor cover using a soft brush.

VERY MONTHS
Lubricate catches and hinges. Rub the lid gasket with some talcum powder.
Dust must be removed from the cooling unit regularly. To allow the access to the compressor, the compressor
cover must be removed :
- tear off the 2 control knobs on the control panel
- loose the 12 screws of the compressor cover.
- Take off the compressor cover by moving it to the front of the box. Watch out not to damage the shafts of the
control knobs when removing the cover.
- Clean the inside of the compressor compartment using a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner.
- Check all the fixing elements of the compressor and thighten if necessary.
- The mounting of the compressor cover is done in reverse way.
The cooling unit in particular, being a closed system, does not require any maintenance. Unnecessary manipulati-
ons risk to create damages and prevent its proper functioning. The complete system is mounted on a frame and in
case of failure it might be ordered and replaced by an exchange system. This replacement should only be perfor-
med by an authorized specialist / work shop.

The electronic unit of the RCW42DC is fitted with a fuse. In case of a failure of the appliance, please check this fuse
and replace if necessary :
Unmount the compressor cover
- tear off the 2 control knobs on the control panel
- loose the 12 screws of the compressor cover.
- Take off the compressor cover by moving it to the front of the box.
Tear off the fuse.
The mounting is done in reverse order
