Using

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Press (11), to enable or disable the key sound. If
the key sound is enabled, you hear a short confirma-
tion sound each time you press a key.
Press the time key (9) to return to the "normal"
local time and calendar mode.
To display the local time of one of the 16 metropo-
lises, press one of the 16 keys labelled with the name
of the corresponding city (refer to the table on the
next page), e.g. [HKG = HONG KONG]. Press the
time key (9) or wait for approx. 8 seconds to
switch back to the local time mode.
Press the key with the corresponding city name
several times to toggle between summer time and
winter time, e.g. 2 x [LON = LONDON]. A dot (5)
appears next to the time display to indicate summer
time. Press the set key (10) to set the displayed time
as local time.
Press the up key (14) or the down key (13) to
switch the calendar to the following month resp. to the
previous month. Press the time key (9) or wait for
8 seconds to return to the „normal" local time and
calendar mode.
