Automatic Operation
1. Fill the machine with water and coffee as described in the previous chapter
"Manual Operation" and place the glass carafe (10) in the middle of the hot
plate (11).
2. Press the button PRO twice while the machine is turned off (red and green
LED are off). "SET TIMER" is now displayed. Set the desired turn-on time
with the HR (hours) and MIN (minute) buttons. Press and hold a button to
change the value rapidly. After that, press PRO again or wait for 10 seconds.
After that, the current time is displayed.
3. Press the AUTO button, the machine will now turn on the set time and will
operate for two hours (green LED on = automatic operation). Press AUTO
again, to leave the automatic mode.
4. To confirm the turn-on time, press PRO twice while the machine is off (red
LED off). While the machine is in automatic mode (green LED on), the turn-on
time can not be changed.
Cleaning
Before cleaning, allow the unit to cool down and pull the power plug! Do not
immerse the unit in water or liquids of any kind!
Use a moist cloth to clean the housing (2) and allow the unit to dry completely
before the next use.
The filter holder (7) can be lifted out of the housing from a position all the way
to the right. The permanent filter (6), the filter holder (7), and the glass carafe
(10) can be cleaned with hot water and detergent. Do not clean them in the
dishwasher.
Do not use metal or sharp objects, these may damage the surfaces. Do not
use abrasives.
Depending on the hardness of the water and the frequency of use the
machine should be decalcified from time to time.

Do not use vinegar, but rather a customary decalcifying agent based on citric
acid. Follow the instructions from the manufacturer of the decalcifying agent.
