For chiselling turn the mode switch to the hammer
operating mode, the rotational function is disabled.
Turn the mode switch to the hammer + arrow
working angle of the chisel. Before starting chiselling, turn the mode switch
back to the hammer
Turn the mode switch to the hammer + drill
hammer/drill mode.
For drilling (without hammering) turn the mode switch to the drill

Replacing Carbon Brushes

Replace the carbon brushes as soon as the carbon brush abrasion LED (5b)
shines red.
1. Before changing the carbon brushes pull the power plug.
2. Use a flat screwdriver to open the carbon brush holder covers on both
sides of the tool and remove the spent carbon brushes.
3. Insert 2 new carbon brushes and close the brush holder covers.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Always keep the unit clean, dry and free from oil.
Use only a dry or slightly moist cloth for cleaning the housing.
Do not use abrasives or flammable substances such as benzine, solvents,
turpentine or similar.
Keep the ventilation louvres clean and free from obstructions to prevent
overheating the unit.
From time to time clean the shafts of the drill bits and chisels with
petroleum ether. Then lubricate them lightly.
