Please follow the following notes to avoid malfunctions, damages
and disturbances of health:
Please read the instruction manual carefully and do use the espresso
maker only according to this manual.
Dispose packaging material not required or store it on a place
unapproachable for children. There is risk of suffocation!
Do not continue to use the unit if the unit or the line cord are damaged.
Repair work must be done by a qualified service technician.
Do not continue to use the espresso filter, the espresso filter holder, or the
steam unit if they are damaged. In such case, please contact our customer
service.
Please use only the provided accessories.
Please make sure that the rated voltage on the name plate of the unit
complies with your local voltage.
Do not conduct the line cord over sharp edges and corners or hot
surfaces.
Position the unit on a plane surface during use. Do not position the unit in
a wash basin or on slant surfaces.
Do not use the unit outside or near gas flames, hot plates or other hot
objects.
Never dip the unit into liquids.
The unit mustn't operate without supervision. Keep children away during
use. Do not allow children or other persons who need supervision to use
the unit.
Do not overfill the unit.
Never operate the unit without water to avoid a switch-off because of
overheating. If the overheating protection has been activated, please wait
10 minutes before you use the unit again.
Do not fill the unit with warm or hot water. Use only cold water.
Boiling water or steam can cause injuries. Please be very attentive when
handling hot water and steam.
Hot steam can leak out the unit. Never touch any hot parts during use,
especially the steam nozzle and the filter holder.
Switch the unit off and unplug it if you don't use it or clean it.
Let the unit cool down before cleaning.
Never pull on the line cord, but always use the power plug.
Never disassemble the unit or try to repair it yourself. It does not contain
parts serviceable by you.
