7 RDS (Radio Data System)
This tuner features RDS, offering the convenient features shown
below.
¶ PS (Program Service Name) display
¶ PTY (Program Type) display
¶ RT (Radio Text) display of up to 64 characters
¶ Broadcast station search by program type (PTY Search)
¶ EON (Enhanced Other Networks)
Presetting RDS stations lets you take full advantage of RDS func-
tions.
7 EON (Enhanced Other Networks) reception
EON is one RDS function.
Function which switches a frequency automatically when a speci-
fied program starts, if it is set as a Traffic Information (TA) or
News station in advance.
7 RF ATT
A built-in attenuator (RF ATT) can be switched on or off for proper
reception of strong boradcast stations.
7 Random 30-station presetting
A total of 30 FM and AM stations can be preset into the memory
circuit.
7 Manual station name memory
Using up to 4 characters, you can store a name of your choice
for preset FM/AM broadcast stations 1 to 30.
7 Energy-saving design
This unit is designed to use minimal electricity when power is
switched OFF (during Standby).
Regarding the value of the power consumption in standby mode,
refer to "SPECIFICATIONS" on page 50.

7 RDS (système de données radio)
Ce tuner offre le service RDS, permettant d'utiliser les fonctions
pratiques suivantes.
¶ Affichage de PS (nom du service programme)
¶ Affichage de PTY (type de programme).
¶ Ecran d'affichage RT (texte radio) de jusqu'à 64 caractères.
¶ Recherche de stations de radiodiffusion par le type de programme.
¶ EON (Enhanced Other Networks - Information étendue aux
autres réseaux)
Le préréglage des stations RDS vous permet d'utiliser au mieux
les fonctions RDS.
7 Réception EON (Enhanced Other Networks -
Information étendue aux autres réseaux)
EON est une des fonctions RDS.
Fonction qui vous permet de régler l'appareil pour changer la
fréquence automatiquement quand un programme comportant des
informations routières ou des bulletins d'informations est diffusé.
7 RF ATT
Un atténuateur incorporé (RF ATT) peut être activé ou désactivé
pour une réception correcte des fortes stations d'émission.
7 Préréglage aléatoire de 30 stations
30 stations FM et AM au total peuvent être préréglées dans le
circuit de mémoire.
7 Entrée manuelle du nom de station
En utilisant jusqu'à 4 caractères, on peut mettre en mémoire un nom
de son choix pour prérégler les stations d'émission FM/AM 1 à 30.
7 Conception visant aux économies d'énergie
Cet appareil est conçu pour consommer aussi peu d'électricité
que possible lorsqu'il n'est pas en service (c'est-à-dire, lorsqu'il
est en veille).
