1) Remove the blender
remove the lid
until you can pull it upwards.
2) Turn the appliance upside down and turn the plastic part
anticlockwise so that it can be removed from the glass part
(see Fig. 3).

4) Clean the sealing ring in mild soap solution and rinse it off with clean water
