Installing and removing the Battery

1. Slide the battery (6) as far as it will
go into the battery carrier (5). The
battery has to snap in audibly.
2. In order to remove the battery,
first push down the releasing
button (16) at the battery (Step 1)
and then slide the battery from the
battery holder (Step 2).

Switching ON and OFF the device

1. To turn the grass trimmer on, press and hold
the safety switch (3) to the left or to the right.
Then press the ON/OFF switch (4) inwards.
2. Release the safety switch.
3. To turn off the grass trimmer, release the
ON/OFF switch. Please note that the motor
will continue to run for a few seconds after
switching off.
