Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
 Please read this manual carefully and use the charger only according to
this manual.
 Dispose of the packaging materials or store them in a safe place out of
reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!
 The charger may not be used if it or the power cable are damaged. If this
happens, pleas have the unit repaired by a professional.
 While charging lead-acid batteries explosive or hazardous gasses can
develop. For this reason charge lead-acid batteries only in well-ventilated
areas. Avoid naked flames and sparks.
 Do not charge other batteries than lead-acid batteries.
 Do not cover the device during operation.
 The unit may only be connected to a 230 V~ 50 Hz (10/16 A) protected
socket.
 The unit does not belong into the hands of children.
 Do not wear conductive jewellery as necklaces, bracelets or rings while
using the unit.
 Avoid contact with the battery acid. Battery acid can cause severe burns! In
case of contact wash with liberal amounts of fresh water and, if necessary,
contact a physician.
 After extended use with full charging current the unit may heat up
considerably. For this reason periodically check the charging process and
in the case of irregularities as excessive overheating or bubbling immedi-
ately pull the power plug.
 While the unit is not in use or being cleaned the power plug should always
be pulled. Never pull on the power cord, always grasp the plug itself.
 Do not disassemble the charger or attempt to repair it yourself. The unit
does not contain parts serviceable by you. In case of questions or prob-
lems turn to our customer service.
