Power Cord
1. Do not extend the power cord any further than the yellow warning mark.
2. To retract the power cord, press the cord retraction button (M) on top of the
motor unit. Hold the cord slightly while retracting, to enable the cord to rewind
easily.
Switching On and Off
Only switch the vacuum cleaner on and off by using the ON/OFF switch, never by
pulling the power plug.
Suction Control on the Handle
With the switch (B) on the handle you can adjust the suction power. If you close
the opening, the suction power will increase. If you open it, the suction power will
decrease.
Suction Control on the Vacuum Cleaner
The suction power can be continuously adjusted with the suction control (N) on
the vacuum cleaner. Turn the switch from the position MIN (Minimum) to position
MAX (Maximum). Before starting, select a lower setting and adjust if necessary.

Accessories

For various uses you will find the different accessories in the inner side of the
vacuum cleaner. Lift the accessory compartment (H) up and take out the intended
tool.

Upholstery Brush (F): For curtains, draperies and other fabrics, for furniture,
Dust Bag Indicator
On the dust bag indicator (I) you can see if the dust bag is full. Empty the perma-
nent dust bag, if the indicator turns to red in order not to reduce the suction
power.
1. Switch the vacuum cleaner off and pull the power cord. Press the cover
release button (K) to open the upper lid. Empty the permanent dust bag, as
described in the chapter „Inserting the Filter" on page 8.
