In particular:
- remember to press the "T" test button regularly and at least every
six months. The residual current breaker should then snap. If this
does not happen, a technician should be alerted immediately
because system safety has lowered.
- before changing bulbs or fuses, be sure that the power is shut off
for the whole installation by opening the general breaker.
- do not leave wires unshielded, but arrange for their substitution
immediately.
- always call a qualified technician to carry out work on fixed or
mobile electric installations.
Resetting the device after tripping
When the device is tripped for a residual current the black toggle will
be in the OFF position and the blue signal appears.
After eliminating the reason it was tripped, reset the RCBO by
switching the black toggle back to the ON position.
When the device is tripped by an overload the black toggle will be
in the OFF position and the signal blue will not appear.
After eliminating the reason it was tripped, reset the RCBO by
switching the black toggle back to the ON position.
