Extending the Steel Cable

1. Secure the hook (5) to a rigid anchor.
2. Push up the release spring (10) (position A) to unlock the rack wheel (6) and
the lever (2). Move down the lever (2) and hold it in position (C). This way, the
lever pushes up the locking pawl (11) and the rack wheel is unlocked.
3. Unwind the steel cable to the desired length. While unwinding the steel cable
make sure that at least three windings will remain on the cable drum.
4. Hook the safety hook (8) on the load to be pulled.

Tensioning the Steel Cable

1. Press down the release spring (10) again (B) in order to hook the release
pawl (4) back into the rack wheel (6).
2. Operate the lever (2) up and down in order to tension the steel cable.
