SPEED SETTING
P- Same as "High speed". To use this setting, please hold the speed control in the P position.
0 - Switch OFF the appliance
1 - Low speed
2 - High speed

SHORT-TERM OPERATION

The appliance is designed to process average domestic quantities of ingredients. It can be
operated without interruption for a maximum of 1 minute, after which the blender needs to cool
down for 3 minutes.

SAFETY SWITCH

A safety switch in the blender base is there to ensure that the appliance can only be operated
once the blender jar is properly placed in position.
Before removing the blender jug, make sure that the speed control is in position (0).
This also applies when fitting the blender jug to the blender base. If the speed control is not in
its off-position (0), the motor will start immediately.

GENERAL CARE AND CLEANING

• Always remove the plug from power supply before cleaning the appliance.
• To avoid risk of electric shock, do not clean the blender base or power cord with water and
do not immerse them in water. Wipe the blender base with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
• Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning solutions or hard brushes for cleaning.
• For cleaning after use, fill the blender jar with approximately 1500ml clean water and a mild
cleaning detergent. Let the appliance run for a short period of time. Then rinse the blender jar,
lid and measuring cup with fresh water. All parts must me thoroughly dried afterward.
