• During British Summer Time, the time is moved forward by 1 hour.
• During Greenwich Mean Time, the time is moved back by 1 hour.
9. Selecting the operating mode (automatic/manual)
Select the desired operating mode with the >>ON/AUTO/OFF<< button. The operating mode is shown
on the display at the bottom edge.
• >>ON<<: The connected consumer is permanently switched on.
The switching programmes are not active.
• >>OFF<<: The connected consumer is permanently switched off.
The switching programmes are not active.
• >>AUTO<<: The timer switch operates according to the set switching programmes.
10. Entering the switch-on/switch-off programmes
With this timer switch you can enter values for 10 on/off programmes.
ATTENTION! The programme pairs must not overlap. This may cause a malfunction. A program
pair always consists of a switch-on time and a switch-off time, which must be entered one after
the other. If only the switch-on time is accidentally programmed, the connected consumer is not
switched off until another programme pair becomes active.
• Press the >>TIMER<< button to enter the programme mode.
• Programme >>1 ON<< appears on the display. The switch-on time can now be entered.
• Select the desired time with the >>HOUR<< and >>MINUTE<< buttons.
• Use the >>WEEK<< button to select on which day(s) of the week the switching programme is to be
executed. The respective day of the week or combination of days appears at the top of the display.
• Press the >>TIMER<< button again.
• Programme >>1 OFF<< appears on the display. Now the switch-off time can be entered. Proceed as
described for the switch-on time.
• The entry for the first switching programme is now complete. Press the >>TIMER<< button again to
enter additional switching programmes if necessary. If no button is pressed for several seconds, the
previous settings are saved and the display shows the time.
ATTENTION! Two switching programmes must be set if the desired switching programme goes
past the time 0:00. In this case, one switching programme ends at 23:59 and the next one starts
at 0:00.
11. Resetting/restoring the switch-on/switch-off times
• Press the >>TIMER<< button to enter the programme mode.
• Programme >>1 ON<< and the switch-on time you entered are shown on the display.
• Reset the switch-on time entered with the >>RST/RCL<< button. >> --:-- << appears on the display.
Info: Press the >>RST/RCL<< button again to restore the previous switch-on time
• Press the >>TIMER<< button again.
• Programme >>1 OFF<< appears on the display. Now the switch-off time can be reset. Proceed as
described for the switch-on time.
• The resetting of the first switching programme is now complete. Press the >>TIMER<< button again
to reset additional switching programmes if necessary. If no button is pressed for several seconds, the
settings are saved and the display shows the time.
ATTENTION! Always reset the switch-on time and the switch-off time of the switching
programme.
