1. General instructions for use
Dear User,
Before you use the bath chair lift, please read these operating instructions
carefully. They contain important information that will allow you to handle the
chair lift easily and properly.
The chair lift supports handicapped children when bathing and provides safe
support at all times.
2. Safety instructions
• Make sure immediately after you unpack the Simplex Bath Chair Lift that it is fit
for use.
• Before you use the chair lift, check the connecting cord to lower the chair lift for
damage.
• The child should always be secured by the double shoulder harness to prevent
the child from falling out, slipping or climbing out of the chair unintentionally.
• Only use the bath chair lift in fixed bath tubs.
• Never leave the child unsupervised in the Simplex bath chair lift.
• Do not exceed the maximum load-bearing weight of 25 kg / 55.1 lb.
3. Installing and removing the bath chair lift
To install the Simplex bath chair lift, simply place it on the sides of the bathtub with
both hands.
Important:
When placing the chair lift on the bath, make sure the lifting arm is secured.
To remove the chair lift, first secure the lifting arm. Then remove the chair lift from
the sides of the bathtub with both hands.
