SAFETY NOTES AND OPERATION
Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
 Please read this manual carefully and use the device only according
to this manual.
 Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of the
reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!
 The trailer coupling anti-theft lock is not a toy and does not belong in the
hands of children.
 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
 The trailer coupling anti-theft lock is not intended for commercial use.
 Do not use the trailer coupling anti-theft lock for other purposes.
Using
 The trailer lock is designed for protecting your trailer. With the trailer coupling
anti-theft lock it will not be possible to connect the trailer to a towing vehicle.
For AL-KO Hitches: The notch (4) must face toward the hitch.
For ALBE Hitches: Position the notch (4) over the spring catch.
1. Place the trailer hitch lock into the hitch. The hitch must be unlocked during
installation.
2. Insert the key (1) into the locking cylinder (2) and turn it clockwise. Pull the
locking cylinder (3) together with the key out of the trailer coupling anti-theft
lock.
3. Insert the hex key (5) into the screw on the inside of the trailer coupling anti-
theft lock. Turn the hex key clockwise until the trailer coupling anti-theft lock
sits firmly within the hitch.
4. Place the locking cylinder into the trailer coupling anti-theft lock. Turn the key
(1) counter clockwise until the locking cylinder can no longer be pulled out.
5. To remove the trailer coupling anti-theft lock, repeat the above mentioned
steps in reverse order.
