3. USE
1. Slide the on/off switch into the ON position.
2. Press and hold the heating switch. The LED light
comes on and indicates that the soldering iron is
warming up.
3. After approx. 8 seconds, the soldering tip has
reached its working temperature.
4. Now you can start soldering.

4. CHANGING THE TIP

1. Make sure that the soldering iron is switched off.
Wait until the tip has cooled down sufficiently.
2. Only use genuine spare parts that are intended for
this soldering iron.
3. Unscrew the tip to be replaced by turning the locking
ring anti-clockwise.
4. Insert the new tip and lock it in place by turning the
locking ring clockwise.
The soldering tips must not be modified. Tin the tip
after every use to prevent oxidation.
