7 Charging the backup battery
Before first use or after not using the product for a long period of time, fully charge the built-in
backup battery.
1. Plug the product into a suitable mains outlet and charge the backup battery for 6 hours.
2. Set up the product.
8 Resetting / Turning on the product
(If the LED display is off) press RESET to turn on the product in its factory default settings.
If you need to reset the product to its factory settings, press RESET.
9 Setting the current time
Set the product to the current time before use.
1. Press MODE to switch modes and select TIM to see the clock.
2. Press CLOCK to enter clock setting mode.
3. Press WEEK / HOUR / MIN to set the current day and time. The display shows the time
in 24-hour format.
4. Press CLOCK to confirm and exit clock setting mode.
10 Programming
PRECONDITIONS:
Backup battery is charged sufficiently.

10.1 Clock Mode (TIM)
Allows you to manually turn the connected device on or off.
1. Press MODE and select TIM.
2. Press ENTER to display ON next to the current time.
The power is turned on and the connected device will turn on.

3. Press ENTER to display OFF next to the current time.
The power is turned off and the connected device will turn off.

10.2 Automatic On-Off Mode (AUTO)
Allows you to set up to 16 programs. When the mode is activated, the product will automatically
turn the connected device on and off according to the program(s) set.
10.2.1 Setting a program
1. Press MODE and select AUTO.
2. Press CLOCK to enter program setting mode.
The display will show PROGR 1 – ON.

3. Press WEEK / HOUR / MIN to set the day(s) and start time of Program 1, and press ENTER
to confirm.
The display will show PROGR 1 – OFF.

4. Press WEEK / HOUR / MIN to set the day(s) and finish time of Program 1, and press
ENTER to confirm and go to the next screen.
The display will show PROGR 2 - ON.

5. If you want to set Program 2, repeat steps 2 – 4, and so on.
6. To clear incorrect data input, press CLEAR.
7. Once you have finished setting the program(s), press MODE to save and exit to the main
menu.
10.2.2 Activating Automatic On-Off Mode
To activate your saved program(s):
1. Press MODE and select AUTO.
2. Press ENTER to activate the mode.
AUTO will flash on the display when the mode is activated.

10.2.3 Deactivating Automatic On-Off Mode
1. Press MODE and select AUTO.
2. Press ENTER to deactivate the mode.
AUTO will stop flashing on the display when the mode is deactivated.

10.2.4 Deleting a program
1. Press MODE and select AUTO.
2. Press CLOCK to enter program setting mode.
3. Use ENTER to advance the screen to the desired program.
4. Press CLEAR to delete the program.
5. If you need to delete more programs, repeat steps 3 – 4.
6. Press MODE to save and exit to the main menu.
10.3 Countdown Mode (CTD)
Allows you to set a delayed off. The product turns off the power when the countdown ends.
1. Press MODE and select CTD.
The display shows OFF 0:00.

2. Press HOUR / MIN to set the timer. The countdown time range is 0:00 – 99:99 (hh:mm).
3. To clear incorrect data input, press CLEAR.
4. Press ENTER to start the countdown.
The display will show ON and countdown starts.

The display will show OFF 0:00 at the end of the countdown and turn off the power.

If you need to stop the countdown, press ENTER.
10.4 Random Mode (RND)
In Random Mode, the product automatically turns the power on and off at random times
between 19:00 and 6:00 the next morning every day to give the impression that the house is
occupied.
10.4.1 Activating Random Mode
1. Press MODE and select RND.
2. Press ENTER to activate the mode.
RND will flash on the display when the mode is activated.

and 6:00 the next morning every day, until the user deactivates the mode. The time
range is preset and cannot be changed.
10.4.2 Deactivating Random Mode
1. Press MODE and select RND.
2. Press ENTER to deactivate the mode.
RND will stop flashing on the display when the mode is deactivated.

11 Connecting the devices
PRECONDITIONS:
The current time and program(s) are set correctly on the product.

The mode of your choice is activated on the product.

1. Plug the product into a suitable mains outlet.
2. Plug a suitable device into the product.
3. Set the power button of the device to the on position.
12 Cleaning and care
Important:
– Do not use harsh cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions. They
damage the housing and can cause the product to malfunction.
– Do not rinse the product under the tap or expose to moisture.
– Do not immerse the product in water.
12.1 Cleaning
1. Disconnect the product from the mains outlet.
2. Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
12.2 Turning the product off for storage
If the product will not be used for a long period of time, it is recommended to turn the product
off. This can help reduce battery consumption and extend battery life.
Note:
– The product cannot be turned off if a mode is activated.
– Turning the product off will clear all programs and user settings.
1. Unplug the product from the mains outlet.
2. If a mode is activated, deactivate the mode.
3. Then press MODE and select TIM.
4. Press CLEAR and ENTER simultaneously until the product turns off.
5. To turn the product on, press RESET.
