Video Intercom dS-Eagle
FUNCTION AND INTENDED USE
dS-Eagle is a video intercom system integrated in digitalSTROM, suitable
for single and multi-family houses as well as apartments. The installation
can be easily accomplished via a 2-wire connection. The device is suitable
for outdoor installation.
SAFETY
Warning: Mortal danger! Touching live electric house wiring (230
V AC) may lead to death or severe burns. Disconnect all power
before installing this device and check for the absence of voltage.
Prevent third parties from reconnecting the device.
Important notes Only trained experts are authorised to install and
commission the module. Country-specific regulations must be
followed. The device must not be used directly or indirectly for
health or life-saving purposes or for purposes where a device
failure could endanger people, animals or physical assets.

installation instructions in the digitalSTROM Installation
Manual.
INSTALLATION + COMMISSIONING
dS-Eagle is only suitable for fixed wall mounting. It consists of a wall
mounting bracket with the electrical connections and the audio/video
module, which is snapped onto the wall mounting bracket. The orientation of
the device is intended to be vertical only.
A) Drill the mounting holes for the wall mounting bracket. Make sure that the
white terminals are located above the junction box.
B) Fasten the wall mounting bracket with 4 screws (up to 3.5mm).
C) Terminate the connection cables.
D) Snap the audio/video module into the upper part in the wall mounting
bracket and press the lower part until it locks.
As soon as a gateway (dS-Touch, dS-Connect) is connected, dS-Eagle is
automatically recognized and ready for operation. Then make a test call by
pressing the doorbell. First, it flashes white and then lights up blue as soon
as the call connection is established.

FONCTIONNEMENT ET DOMAINE D'APPLICATION
dS-Eagle est un système d'interphone vidéo intégré dans digitalSTROM,
adapté aux maisons individuelles
appartements. L'installation se fait facilement par une connexion à 2 fils.
L'appareil est adapté à une installation en extérieur.
SÉCURITÉ
Danger de mort ! Tout contact avec une installation intérieure
sous tension (230 V AC) peut entraîner des blessures graves,
voire la mort. Avant d'installer cet appareil, couper toutes ls lignes
d'alimentation et vérifier l'absence de tension. Empêcher toute
mise sous tension par une tierce personne.
Remarques importantes : seuls des spécialistes formés sont
autorisés à installer ce module et à le mettre en service. Les
dispositions applicables dans le pays concerné doivent être
respectées. L'appareil ne doit pas être utilisé à des fins (directes
ou indirectes) présentant un risque pour la santé ou pouvant
entraîner la mort. Il ne doit pas non plus être utilisé à des fins au
cours desquelles une panne de l'appareil représenterait un danger
pour les personnes, les animaux ou les biens matériels.
Pour le montage et la mise en service, respecter les
instructions de planification et d'installation dans le manuel
d'installation digitalSTROM.
MONTAGE + MISE EN SERVICE
Le dS-Eagle convient uniquement pour un montage mural fixe. Il se
compose d'un support de montage mural avec les connexions électriques et
le module audio/vidéo, qui est encliqueté sur le support de montage mural.
L'orientation de l'appareil est prévue pour être uniquement verticale.
A) Percez les trous de montage pour le support de fixation murale. Veillez à
ce que les bornes blanches soient situées au-dessus de la boîte de
jonction.
B) Fixez le support de montage mural avec 4 vis (jusqu'à 3,5 mm).
C) Terminez les câbles de connexion.
D) Emboîtez le module audio/vidéo dans la partie supérieure du support de
fixation murale et appuyez sur la partie inférieure jusqu'à ce qu'elle se
verrouille.
Dès qu'une passerelle (dS-Touch, dS-Connect) est connectée, le dS-Eagle
est automatiquement reconnu et prêt à fonctionner. Faites ensuite un appel
d'essai en appuyant sur la sonnette. Elle clignote d'abord en blanc, puis
s'allume en bleu dès que la connexion d'appel est établie.

FUNKTION UND VERWENDUNGSZWECK
dS-Eagle ist eine in digitalSTROM integrierte Videogegensprechanlage,
geeignet für Ein- und Mehrfamilienhäuser sowie Wohnungen. Über eine 2-
Draht Anbindung lässt sich die Installation einfach bewerkstelligen. Das
Gerät ist für die Aussenmontage geeignet.
SICHERHEIT
Lebensgefahr! Berühren der elektrischen Hausinstallation unter
Spannung (230 V AC) kann zum Tod oder zu schwersten
Verbrennungen führen. Vor der Installation dieses Gerätes alle
Zuleitungen spannungslos schalten und prüfen, ob
Spannungsfreiheit besteht. Einschalten der Spannung durch Dritte
verhindern.
Wichtige Hinweise Nur geschultes Fachpersonal darf das Modul
installieren und in Betrieb nehmen. Landesspezifische
Vorschriften sind einzuhalten. Das Gerät darf nicht zu direkt oder
indirekt gesundheits- oder lebenssichernden Zwecken benutzt
werden oder zu Zwecken, bei denen ein Ausfall des Gerätes zu
Gefahren für Menschen, Tiere oder Sachwerten führen kann.

beachten.
MONTAGE + INBETRIEBNAHME
dS-Eagle ist nur für eine fest installierte Wandmontage geeignet. Es besteht
aus einer Wandhalterung mit den elektrischen Anschlüssen und dem
Audio/Videomodul, welches an der Wandhalterung eingerastet wird. Die
Ausrichtung des Geräts ist nur vertikal vorgesehen.
A) Nehmen Sie die Befestigungsbohrungen für die Wandhalterung vor.
Beachten Sie dabei, dass die weissen Anschlussklemmen über der
Anschlussdose zu liegen kommen.
B) Befestigen Sie die Wandhalterung mit 4 Schrauben (bis 3.5mm).
C) Verbinden Sie die Anschlussleitungen.
D) Rasten Sie das Audio/Videomodul in den oberen Teil der Wandhalterung
und drücken Sie den unteren Teil, bis er einrastet.
Sobald ein Gateway (dS-Touch, dS-Connect) angeschlossen ist, wird dS-
Eagle automatisch erkannt und ist betriebsbereit. Führen Sie danach einen
Testanruf durch, indem Sie die Türklingel betätigen. Zuerst blinkt diese
weiss und leuchtet anschliessend blau, sobald die Rufverbindung erstellt
ist.

FUNZIONE E IMPIEGO PREVISTO
dS-Eagle è un sistema videocitofonico integrato in digitalSTROM, adatto a
case mono e plurifamiliari e ad appartamenti. L'installazione può essere
effettuata facilmente tramite una connessione a 2 fili. Il dispositivo è adatto
per l'installazione all'esterno.
SICUREZZA
Pericolo di morte! Toccare un impianto elettrico interno sotto
tensione (230 V AC) può causare la morte o ustioni gravi. Prima di
installare questo dispositivo, mettere tutti i cavi di alimentazione
fuori tensione e controllare che la tensione sia effettivamente
assente. Impedire la messa in tensione da parte di terzi.
Note importanti Il dispositivo deve essere installato e messo in
funzione solo da personale tecnico specializzato e appositamente
formato. Osservare le direttive specifiche vigenti a livello

MONTAGGIO E MESSA IN SERVIZIO
dS-Eagle è adatto solo per il montaggio fisso a parete. È costituito da una
staffa di montaggio a parete con i collegamenti elettrici e dal modulo
audio/video, che viene agganciato alla staffa di montaggio a parete.
L'orientamento dello dispositivo è previsto solo in verticale.
A) Praticare i fori di montaggio per la staffa di montaggio a parete.
Assicurarsi che i terminali bianchi si trovino sopra la cassetta di giunzione.
B) Fissare la staffa di montaggio a parete con 4 viti (fino a 3,5 mm).
C) Collegare i cavi di collegamento.
D) Inserire il modulo audio/video nella parte superiore della staffa di
montaggio a parete e premere la parte inferiore finché non si blocca.
Non appena viene collegato un gateway (dS-Touch, dS-Connect), dS-Eagle
viene riconosciuto automaticamente ed è pronto per il funzionamento.
Effettuare quindi una chiamata di prova premendo il campanello. Il
campanello lampeggia prima in bianco e poi si illumina in blu non appena
viene stabilita la connessione alla chiamata.
