Please note the following safety notes to avoid mal-
functions, damage or physical injury:
 Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the
appliance.
 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are
not allowed to use the unit, unless they are supervised and
briefed for their safety by a qualified person.
 Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in use. Be
very careful when the appliance is used in the presence of
children.
 The device is not intended for continuous professional opera-
tion. The device is intended to be used in closed rooms only
and in similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in
shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses;
by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environ-
ments; bed and breakfast type environments. The use in any
other way is not considered as intended use.
 Keep all parts of the appliance clean at all times as they come
into direct contact with food.
 Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. If
the appliance or the plug accidentally should become wet,
disconnect the power cord immediately and have the appli-
ance checked by an electrician before using it again. Never
attempt to open the appliance yourself.
 Never put any metallic objects into the grille openings of the
appliance.
 Be careful, the top grille will become very hot during use.
 Do not operate the appliance with wet hands, on a damp floor
or when the appliance itself is wet. Do not touch the power
plug with wet hands.
 Do not allow the cable to hang over sharp edges and keep it
well away from hot objects and open flames (e.g. gas oven).
