Functions
 This appliance is highly suitable for freshening up
toilets, cupboards and particularly refrigerators.
 Sterilising function: fills the refrigerator/cupboard with
O (ozone) so bacteria and fungi are removed from the

air. Foodstuffs stay fresh longer as a result.
 Refreshing function: quickly removes unpleasant
odours.
 The appliance works fully automatically. When the
appliance is working the LED will continuous light up.
When the air is sufficiently clean the appliance
switches to stand-by and the LED flashes every 15
seconds. This cycle repeats itself after 2 hours.
 If a red light flashes you must replace the batteries.
When the green light is flashing the batteries are still
sufficiently charged.
Installation
 Unscrew the base of the appliance and insert 4
batteries (6V 4XC) in the compartment. Note the
battery polarity.
 On the back of the air cleaner there is a button with
which you can switch the appliance off or set the
position (high/low). Choose 'high mode' when
unpleasant odours must be removed or when the
volume of the refrigerator is greater than 250 litres.
Sterilisation then takes place in 4 minutes (high)
instead of 2 minutes (low).
 Always place the air cleaner on the highest shelf in the
refrigerator. Because O

remember condensation. Only take the appliance out
of the refrigerator to replace the batteries.

replaced.
Guarantee
The guarantee period for the PCL-500 amounts to 2
years and commences on the date of purchase. During
the guarantee period Eltra NV will repair any defects
attributable to material or production faults. Eltra NV
may choose to either repair or replace a defective
appliance.
ELTRA NV is not obliged to repair or replace
appliances if they have become defective as a result of
damage, inappropriate use, or modifications or
adaptations made after the purchase date.
Bring the defective appliance, together with the
original receipt, back to the shop where the appliance
was bought. Always add a note with a description of
the problem.
Damage
ELTRA NV can under no circumstances whatsoever
be held responsible for damage of whatever nature if
the appliance was not correctly installed according to
the specified installation instructions, nor for damage
as a result of unforeseen circumstances such as
natural disasters, lightening strike, etc. All such
resulting costs are consequently at the expense of the
buyer and are not covered by the guarantee
conditions.
