9. TIPS FOR CORRECT DRIVING
Avoid collisions of any kind to prevent falls and
injuries.
Adjust the speed to your riding ability. The
initial speed should be max. between 3-5km/h.
If it cannot be avoided and you have to drive
over an obstacle, bend your knees when
driving over it so that you do not lose your
balance in the
run-off zone.
The Balance Board is water resistant but not
waterproof - so avoid riding through puddles,
on wet surfaces or in the rain.
When driving through obstacles, be careful not
to hit your head.
When driving through doors, make sure that
the Balance Board is not wider than the door.
Also pay attention to door thresholds and the
height of the door frame to avoid collisions.
Avoid driving on inclines or declines of more
than 15°, as the Balance Board could
otherwise lose stability.
Avoid heavy acceleration or braking.
