MAINTENANCE
Remove the inner pot and lid, and wash them in warm soapy water, making sure to rinse both parts properly. Then dry them
with a towel or soft cloth.
Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. Never clean any part of the appliance with an abrasive cleaner. Use
a damp cloth or sponge and mild dishwashing detergent. Wash only the inner pot and lid. Do not immerse any part of the
cooker in water.
Use the abrasive side of a sponge to clean the heating plate and remove residue. Then wipe with a damp cloth. Allow it to dry
completely before using it again. The heating plate must be kept clean to prevent the cooker from malfunctioning.
Improper cleaning of the heating plate can cause unpleasant odours.
Any residue of vinegar or salt can cause corrosion on the inner pot.

USING THE RICE COOKER

1. Place the appliance on a dry, level surface.
2. Before cooking, rinse the rice in water to remove excess starch. The rice is ready for cooking when the water runs clear.
3. Using the measuring cup provided, measure out the required amount of rice. Fill the measuring cup to the brim.
4. Before inserting the inner pot into the device, make sure that the outer surface is clean and dry. This ensures perfect contact
between the outer and inner vessel.
5. Before cooking, clean the bottom of the outer container and the surface of the heating plate. Make sure that the inner pot is
properly inserted in the device, otherwise the device will not function properly and could get damaged.
6. Cover the cooker with the lid.
7. Plug the cable into an electrical outlet.
8. Move the main switch to the „ON" position.
9. When cooking is completed, the Keep Warm function is activated and the „WARM" light comes on.
Note: The appliance is equipped with a safety switch that cuts the power supply to the heating plate in the event of overheating and
switches the power back on when the heating plate has cooled down.
TIP: The normal ratio of rice to water is 1 part rice to 1.0/1.2/1.5 parts water. However, it depends on the type of rice. Please adjust the
amount of water as per the instructions on the rice package.
Add salt and spices to taste before cooking.
