- The HYDROSMART™ METAL STOP filter, which must

waste.

WARRANTY
This appliance is guaranteed for 2 years from the
time of delivery of the goods, or another longer
term envisaged by the national legislation of the
consumer's residence. This provision complies
with Italian and European legislation. The Laica
products are designed for home use and must
not be used in public venues. The warranty only
covers manufacturing defects and does not apply
if the damage is caused by an accidental event,
incorrect use, negligence or misuse of the product.
Use only the accessories supplied; the use of
different accessories may result in invalidity of
the warranty. Do not open the unit for any reason;
in the case of opening or tampering, the warranty
is definitively voided. This warranty does not apply
to parts subject to wear or to the batteries when
supplied. After 2 years from delivery, or another
longer term envisaged by the national legislation of
the consumer's residence, the warranty expires; in
this case, the technical assistance interventions will
be carried out against a fee. Information on technical
assistance, whether under warranty or for a fee, can
be requested by contacting info@laica.com.
No payment will be due for repairs or replacements of
products that fall within the terms of the warranty. In
the event of faults, contact the retailer. Do NOT send
the appliance directly to LAICA. All the operations
under warranty (including those of replacement of the
product or part thereof) will not prolong the duration
of the original period of warranty of the product
replaced. The manufacturer declines any liability for
any damage that may, directly or indirectly, be caused
to persons, property or animals as a result of the
non-observance of all the requirements established
in the relevant instructions manual and concerning,
especially, warnings relating to installation, use and
maintenance of the appliance. LAICA, in its constant
commitment to improving its products, is entitled
to changing without any notice, in whole or in part,
its products in relation to production requirements,
without this entailing any liability for LAICA towards

Los filtros HYDROSMART™ METAL STOP están compuestos
por carbón activados vegetales plateados, una resina especial
de intercambio iónico y membranas de fibras huecas. Los
carbones activados son por lo general eficaces para reducir el
cloro y sus derivados, mientras que la resina de intercambio
iónico bloquea los metales pesados, como el plomo, que pueden
estar presentes en el agua de la red. El módulo de fibras huecas,
en cambio es eficaz para retirar los microplásticos, las partículas
y los microdetritus eventualmente presentes en el agua de red.
El filtro HYDROSMART™ METAL STOP mantiene las sales
minerales naturalmente presentes en el agua de red y reduce
eficazmente: metales pesados como el plomo y el cadmio,
microplásticos, arena, óxido, partículas en suspensión, cloro,
herbicidas y pesticidas orgánicos clorados y disolventes
orgánicos clorados
El filtro para grifo GENOVA permite seleccionar 2 diferentes
modalidades de suministro del agua:
1) Agua filtrada para tomar.
2) Agua no filtrada con alcachofa de ducha.
ATENCIÓN:
El filtro HYDROSMART™ METAL STOP filtra agua que EN TODO
CASO DEBE SER POTABLE y microbiológicamente segura
(verificarlo con la autoridad competente de su zona).
Para un uso consciente solicitar mayor información al gestor
de la red hídrica, o bien realizar un test del agua en salida del
grifo de casa.
ADVERTENCIAS GENERALES DE SEGURIDAD
• Después de haber sacado el producto de su embalaje
comprobar la integridad y la eventual presencia de daños
causados por el transporte. En caso de dudas no utilizar el
aparato y dirigirse a un vendedor autorizado.
• Seguir las instrucciones de este manual. El uso inadecuado
puede afectar la seguridad del producto o causar daños al
mismo.
• El fabricante no se hace responsable de los daños derivados
de un uso inadecuado o incorrecto.
• En caso de personas que padecen patologías específicas,
alergias o que estén sometidas a dietas controladas, se
aconseja consultar con un médico antes de usar el sistema
filtrador.
• Tener la bolsa de plástico del embalaje lejos del alcance de
los niños: hay peligro de asfixia.
• Utilizar el presente producto solo para la finalidad para la
cual ha sido diseñado, es decir como APARATO PARA EL
TRATAMIENTO DE AGUAS POTABLES.
Cualquier otro uso se considera no conforme y, por tanto,
peligroso.
• En caso que se indiquen situaciones de emergencia por
parte de las autoridades competentes, suspender el uso del
sistema de filtrado y ponerse en contacto con el gestor de la
red hídrica para más información. En el momento en que las
autoridades declaran que el agua del grifo es nuevamente
potable y segura, el sistema filtrador debe ser limpiado como
se indica en el párrafo "MANTENIMIENTO Y CUIDADO" y El
filtro HYDROSMART™ METAL STOP debe ser sustituido
siguiendo las indicaciones del párrafo "USO DEL SISTEMA
FILTRADOR-ACTIVACIÓN DEL FILTRO HYDROSMART™
METAL STOP".

• Preparación, sustitución del filtro y mantenimiento deben ser
realizados solamente por personas de al menos 12 años.
• Este producto puede ser utilizado por personas con
capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas,
o por personas inexpertas, solo si previamente han sido
instruidas sobre el uso en condiciones de seguridad y si
se han informado sobre los peligros relacionados con el
producto mismo.
• En caso de avería o mal funcionamiento, póngase en
contacto con un distribuidor autorizado. Es posible obtener
informaciones sobre la asistencia técnica llenando el
respectivo formulario presente en el sitio https://www.laica.
it/ en la sección Faq y Asistencia.
• Trate con cuidado el producto, protéjalo de golpes, variaciones
extremas de temperatura, polvo, luz directa del sol y fuentes
de calor.
• Mantenga el producto alejado de fogones, placas de cocción
calientes, hornos, microondas o materiales inflamables.
• NO usar este producto para producir agua potable.
• NO utilice el producto como un juguete.
• NO altere ni rompa el sistema filtrador y el filtro por ningún
motivo.
• NO exponga el producto a los agentes atmosféricos (lluvia,
sol, etc).
• NO insertar objetos en las aberturas.
• NO poner el dispositivo en un esterilizador en funcionamiento.
• NO congelar el dispositivo.
• NO lavar en lavavajillas.
• NO utilice el sistema filtrador con agua previamente tratada.
