Manual and maintenance instructions Earth ball
Congratulations on your purchase of the Earth ball.
With the Earth ball you have chosen a TOGU brand product made in Germany.
It was produced in compliance with valid EU norms, contains no heavy metals and is made of 100%
recyclable plastic.
Inflation:
Important:
Never inflate the earth ball when the ball is cold. The ball should have room temperature when inflating it.
To inflate the ball you can use boat bellows, an electric pump or a vacuum cleaner (the tube must be
fastened at the exit of the air).
The easiest way is to pump the ball up at a filling station.
First, you should only pump the ball up to a size of 80cm / 170 cm, only after 15 – 20 minutes you can inflate
the ball to its ideal size of 95 cm / 180 – 185cm or its max. size of 1m / 2m.
You can close the ball with the enclosed stopper, immersed into soap sud. The easiest way to deflate the ball
is with a vacuum cleaner.
Attention:
If you play the ball in sunny, hot areas you should not pump it up to more than 95cm / 185 cm, as otherwise
it might burst because of the heat.
Equipment details:
The earth ball is made of highly elastic and tough Ruton. The material is very resistant. However, any pointed
objects can damage it. Before using the ball you should definitely take any pointed and sharp-edged objects
away from the playing ground. Be aware of fences (barbed wires), too.
Remember: Any pointed or sharp-edged object that causes harm to the ball, can also cause harm to you.
The harder the earth ball is pumped up, the more vulnerable it is for damage. The ideal size is
95cm / 180 – 185cm diameter.
We cannot accept liability for tears and damages caused by pointed or sharp-edged objects.
Repair in case of tears:
If you send the defective ball back to us carriage paid, we will repair it for you at a charge of about 13– 52
Euro depending on the length of the tear. The tear must not exceed 50 cm, otherwise it cannot be repaired.
