SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read this manual carefully and completely before you start the installation. This product is
not intended to be used by children or persons with limited mental or motoric capabilities.
The product must be secured against such use. The use of this product is only allowed in
the way described in the section „description and function". Do not expose the product to
heat or moisture.
Not attending to the safety instructions may result in injury and/or property damage.
DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTION
This hybrid cable allows the transmission of UHD signals.
INSTALLATION
1. The hybrid cable dispose of a fixed direction: input side („Source") and output side
(„Display").
2. The input side must be connected to the signal source (e.g. PC), the output side to a
playback device (e.g. monitor).
3. The hybrid cable dispose of a mini DisplayPort plug at both ends, each with an adapter
to standard DisplayPort. On demand you remove one or both adapters: e.g. to pull the
cable through a conduit or to connect a device with mini DispayPort socket. Do not change
the adapters of input and output side!
4. When needed unse the enclosed pulling sleeve (refer to separate manual).
5. Fix the pull wire (e.g. Kati®Blitz) at the pulling sleeve.
6. Pull the cable through the installation tube or cable conduit with reasonable care.
7. Afterwards remove the pulling sleeve carefully.
8. Make sure that signal source and playback device are switched off.
9. Connect the input side („Source") with the signal source and the output side („Display")
with the playback device.
10. Turn on the connected devices.

1. waste management of electronic and electrical equipment products
The symbol „crossed out dustbin" signifies that you are obliged to recycle these devices
separately from unsorted municipal solid waste. The disposal over domestic waste, e.g.
residual waste or yellow recycle bin, is forbidden. Avoid any bad throw by correct disposal
at specific collecting points.
2. extraction of batteries and lamps
Any batteries, accumulators or lamps which can be removed nondestructively from the
legacy device must be cleared from before disposal and must be disposed separately as
batteries or lamps.
3. return possibilities of legacy devices
Legacy devices can be submitted free at the public possibilities for return or collection. A proper
disposal of the equipment is esured in this way. Under certain conditions a return to a retailer is
also possible.
4. WEEE registration number
