FALL ARRESTERK ON FLEXIBLE SUPPORT
General instructions for use
Before each use, please check
- Check that the appliance opens and closes correctly.
- Check that the flexible rope supoort complies with the required diameter (14-16 mm ref. 400/401 -11 ref. 405).
- Check that the operation for stopping the appliance on its support operates correctly by pulling down the ring on
the jaws.
- Check that the appliance is in perfect working order without any visible wear or deformation.
This material must undergo an obligatory annual inspection carried out by a specialized person authorized by the
head of enterprise.
NEVER
- Attach more than one connector to the ring of the slide block,
- Lengthen the linkage between the connector and the anchor point of the hamess.
- Attach the connector of the slide block to a holding belt or to an.
- Use with a connector over 9cm in length (if product is delivered without a connector)
- Evacuation point or to a harness archer point situad below the waist
- Attach the flexible support of the slide block to a structure wihth cannot withstand 1,500 dan.
- Work above the anchoring of the flexible support of the slide block.
THIS PRODUCT MUST BE
- Assigned personaly to one utilizer,
- Stored away from intense sources of heat,
- Used by trained personnel
- Used with a self-locking connector,
- Destroyed after being subject to a fail,
- Protected from chemical products,
- Cleaned with the following products : diluent with a base of keto ne or ether,
- Greased with silicone greases.
