Calibrate instrument:
First of all define the horizon
with a reverse measurement.
Attach the receiver in this
height and switch it to the
highest accuracy
necessary.
Start with calibration the X
axis, that means the receiver must be in direction X of the instrument (in
direction of the X arrow on the top housing). Adjust the direction of the
instrument as exactly as possible with the target marks on the upper case to
the receiver.
Starting calibration mode:
Keep the mode button pressed and press the on/off key.
The LED X is lit. Now the laser plane can be moved up
or down with the arrow keys. Please notice that the
indication sense of the receiver must be read inverse
during calibration. That means, at the indication "arrow
down" on the receiver, you have to move up the laser
plane with the "arrow up" key. Move the laser plane step
by step until it is on the horizon (receiver on grade).
Press the mode button again to change to direction Y.
The LED Y will be lit.
Turn the laser 90° so that the receiver is mounted in the
arrow direction Y on the case.
Lower or lift the laser plane again until it is on grade on
the receiver.
Store the calibration:
To finish the calibration and store the values, keep the
mode key pressed and press the on/off button.
To cancel the calibration you can press the on/off button
at any time of the calibration mode. The new values will
not be stored, also when one axis has already been
changed. The previous calibration values will be used
further.
