Installation instructions for the YVE-BIO® filter systems
We recommend carrying out one or two filter cycles before use in order to flush out any
residues such as dust. Your filter system is then ready for use.
Hyg Hygiene advice:
Please note that assembly must take place under sterile conditions.
1. Remove all packaging parts and foils from the
individual filter parts. Clean the tanks and all
accessories (except ceramic filter and cartridge) with a
mild detergent and rinse everything again with clean
water. These parts should then be hygienically cleaned
with citric acid, rinsed under running water and dried.
We recommend letting all parts dry completely from
the air.
2. Place the lower water container on the base.
3. Mount the tap with 2 sealing rings, one inside and
one outside the vessel. The sealing rings and the
container must be dry. Screw the parts together
tightly - but not too tightly.
4. Place the mineral ring or loose mineral stones (if
included) on the bottom of the water tank.
5. Place the EM pipes and the water stones (if included)
around the mineral ring.
6. Place the FIR (if supplied) in the mineral ring.
7. We recommend rinsing the cartridge from both
sides, i.e. forwards and backwards, with a strong jet of
water for approx. 3 - 5 minutes to remove any fine dust.
Screw the cartridge into the suspension ring and water
it for a few hours so that any air that may still be
present can escape.
8. Place the intermediate ring on the tank and hang the
suspension ring including the filter cartridge.
9. Soak the ceramic filter in a container so that all air
can escape. Mount the ceramic filter in the upper tank.
The sealing ring should be inside the tank, the vessel
and sealing rings must be dry. Tighten firmly, do not
overtighten.
10. Place the upper container on the intermediate ring.
11. Fill the upper tank with tap water.
