USER GUIDE AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
GENERAL
Read and keep the operating instructions.
Congratulations and thank you for purchasing this Schwaiger product.
These operating instructions are intended to assist you in handling and
operating this product. Read the operating instructions carefully. Keep
the instructions for the entire service life of the product and pass them
on to subsequent users or owners. Please check the package contents for
completeness and ensure that no faulty or damaged parts are included.
INTENDED USE
The digital inspection camera is suitable for inspecting difficult-to-access
or dark areas. It is also suitable for moving and removing small and
light objects (e.g. small screws) after mounting the supplied aids on the
camera head. The digital inspection camera must not be used for medical
purposes. It is also not intended for unblocking pipes or pulling in cables.
The light in the camera head is intended to illuminate the direct working
area of the digital inspection camera and is not suitable for room light-
ing in the home. The product is intended for private use only and is not
suitable for commercial use. Only use the product as described in these
operating instructions. Any other use is considered improper and may
result in property damage.

wurde, die Seriennummer des Produktes geändert oder enfernt wurde, das Produkt außerhalb des Bereiches seines vorgese-
henen Verwendungszweckes verwendet wurde/wird oder mit Ablauf der Gewährleistungsfrist.
• Im Rahmen der Gewährleistung behalten wir uns das Recht vor, das Gerät zu reparieren oder gegen ein vergleichbares
Gerät auszutauschen.
• Bei technischen Problemen wenden Sie sich bitte zunächst an unsere Service-Hotline. In den meisten Fällen kann hier das
Problem bereits gelöst werden.
Please note:
• This device comes with a 24-months limited warranty from the date of purchase. Please make sure to keep your receipt and
the original packaging. Should service become necessary and should you not have appropriate packaging for transport at
your disposal, it can be obtained from us subject to a charge. The completely fi lled-in service card must always be included
in the package together with the defective device.
• This warranty only covers defects in materials and workmanship.
• This warranty does not cover problems that result from failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preven-
tive maintenance as well as problems resulting from external causes such as lightning strike, excess voltage, power outage,
fi re or any other natural disasters. Should you still wish for us to repair your device, you will be provided with a cost estimate.
• This warranty expires if the product is modifi ed or repaired by any person not authorized to do so, if the product's serial
number is altered or removed, if the product has not been used / is not used in accordance with product instructions or if the
above-mentioned warranty period of 24 months from date of purchase has expired.
• For all service cases subject to coverage as set forth in this warranty statement, we reserve the right to repair the defective
device or to replace it with a similar one.
• Should you experience any kind of technical trouble, we recommend contacting our service hotline fi rst. In the majority of
cases, the problem can easily be solved.

GENERAL SAFETY AND
WARNING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
Read all safety notices and instructions. Failure to comply with
the safety information and instructions may result in electric
shock, fire and/or serious injury.
• Have the inspection camera repaired by qualified personnel and only
with original spare parts. This ensures that the safety of the inspection
camera is maintained.
• Do not work with the inspection camera in potentially explosive at-
mospheres containing flammable liquids, gases or dusts. Sparks can
be generated in the inspection camera which ignite the dust or vapors.
• Do not point the light beam at persons or animals and do not look into
the light beam yourself, even from a greater distance.
• Check the working area before using the inspection camera. No part
of the inspection camera may come into contact with electrical lines,
moving parts or chemical substances. Interrupt the circuit of electrical
lines running in the working area. These measures reduce the risk of
explosion, electric shock and property damage..
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as goggles,
gloves, or respirator, when substances hazardous to health are present
in the work area. Sewers or similar areas may contain solid, liquid or
gaseous substances that are toxic, infectious, corrosive or otherwise
hazardous to health.
• Pay special attention to cleanliness when working in areas containing
substances hazardous to health. Do not eat while working. Avoid con-
tact with the hazardous substances and clean hands and other body
parts that may have come into contact with hot soapy water after work.
This will reduce the health hazard.
• Do not stand in water when using the inspection camera. There is a risk
of electric shock when working in water.
WARNING!
Hazards for children and persons with reduced physical, senso-
ry or mental capabilities (e.g. partially disabled persons, elderly
persons with reduced physical and mental capabilities) or lack of
experience and knowledge (e.g. older children).
• This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children must not play with the product. Clean-
ing and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without
supervision.
• Keep children younger than eight years away from the product and the
connecting cable.
• Do not leave the product unattended during operation.
• Do not allow children to play with the packaging film. Children may get
caught in it while playing and suffocate.
BASIC FUNCTION
NOTICE:
Before using the product for the first time, check whether it is
damaged.
In this case, do not use the product!
COMMISSIONING
Switch on/off
To switch on the inspection camera, press the On/Off key (3) for 3 sec-
onds. The start screen is shown in the display (9) for a short time.
To switch off the inspection camera, press the On/Off key (3) again for
3 seconds.
If no key is pressed on the inspection camera for approx. 20 min, then it
switches off automatically to save the batteries.
Regulate light in camera head
To illuminate the camera image, you can turn on the light in the camera
head and adjust the brightness.
The brightness can be adjusted in 4 levels:
0 %, 25 %, 50 %, 100 %
To switch on the camera light (8) and increase the brightness, press the
key (4) repeatedly until the desired brightness is reached.
WARNING!
Do not look directly into the light (8) and do not point the light at other
persons. The light from the lamp can dazzle the eyes.
To reduce the brightness and to switch off the chamber light (8), press
the key (4) repeatedly until the desired brightness is reached or the light
is switched off.

Working instructions
• Check the environment you want to inspect and pay particular attention
to obstacles or danger spots.
• Bend the camera cable so that the camera head can be easily inserted
into the environment to be inspected. Carefully insert the camera cable.
• Adjust the brightness of the camera light so that the image can be
easily recognized. With highly reflective objects, for example, you can
achieve a better image with less light.
• If the objects to be examined are displayed blurred, then reduce or
increase the distance between the camera head and the object.

MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
NOTE!
Do not immerse the handheld unit in water or other liquids. Always keep
the inspection camera clean. Clean the inspection camera and all tools
particularly thoroughly after working in areas with substances that are
hazardous to health. Wipe off any soiling with a damp, soft cloth. Do not
use any cleaning agents or solvents Clean the camera lens in particular
regularly and watch out for lint.
Storage
• All parts must be completely dry before storage.
• Always store the product in a dry place.
• Store the product out of reach of children, securely closed and at a stor-
age temperature between 5 °C and 20 °C (room temperature).
Disposal
Do not dispose of batteries or electric and electronic devices in the
normal household waste. The consumer is legally obliged to return
electrical and electronic devices and batteries that are at the end of their
useful life to the point of sale or public collection points that have been set
up for this purpose. Legislation in the country of use governs individual
details regarding disposal. The symbol on the product, the user guide or
the packaging indicates this legal requirement.
