Clamping :

On control panel:
- Selector (22) provides for the choice of its
duration.
- Potentiometer (23) adjusts lateral clamping
strength.
Under cover stockplate (5):
- lever (6) has 4 positions to select pressure on
the spine as a function of the thickness of the
cover.
On cover stock plate (5):
- Moving lever ( 43 ) adjusts the cover clamp
travel closest to the operator.
This adjustment is to carry out as a function of
the thickness of the booklet for a symmetrical
distribution of the glue on both sides of the
spine.
This eliminates possible nailhead shapes of the
spine
