• Before mounting, check that the wall you have
chosen is suitable for the weight to be mounted.
Also make sure that there are no electric, water,
gas or other lines running through the wall at the
mounting site.
• The product is intended only for use inside
buildings.
• Do not attempt to service or repair the product
yourself. Leave any and all service work to
qualified experts.
• Do not continue to operate the device if it is
visibly damaged
• Only operate with closed safety covers.
• Metal covers must not be used.
• Not suitable for motor-powered appliances or
heaters.
• Use the product only for the intended purpose.
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and
overheating and use it in dry rooms only.
• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity
of heaters, other heat sources or in direct
sunlight.
• Only use the article under moderate climatic
conditions.
• As with all electrical products, this device should
be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not operate the product outside the power
limits given in the technical data.
• Do not use the product in areas in which
electronic products are not permitted.
• Do not use the product in a damp environment
and avoid splashing water.

accordance with the locally applicable regulations

5. Download the app
• Download the Hama Smart Home (Solution)
APP from the Apple App Store or Google Play
Store.
• Open the Hama Smart Home (Solution) APP
• The first time you use the app, you need to
register and create a new account. If you already
have an account, log in with your access details.
• Follow the instructions in the app.

6. Installation
• Switch off the relevant fuse (fuse box) for the
room in which you wish to install the WiFi
retrofit switch.
• Check that the wires are de-energised using a
suitable measuring device (e.g. multimeter).
• Connect the switch as shown on page 2.
• Fit the switch under a suitable flush-mounted
socket (note the minimum depth of 60 mm)
Getting started
• After installation of the WiFi switch (by a
specialist), the connect lamp flashes quickly and
you will hear the relay clicking. If it does not
flash, or flashes slowly, switch the connected light
switch off and on again three times in succession.
