CORRECT USE
The TROX X-AIRCONTROL room control panel CP-2T is fitted with a
2" touch screen and is used to measure the room temperature
(internal) and for the user-friendly operation and configuration of
zones in the TROX X-AIRCONTROL system. Room control panel X-
AIR-CP-2T must only be used with components supplied or approved
by TROX. Installation and operation have to comply with the
information in the operating instructions. For more information see
www.troxtechnik.com.
WARNING!
Risk of serious personal injury and damage to property. Do not use
the control panel
►in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres.
►outdoors without sufficient protection against the effects of weather.
►in environments that might have a detrimental effect on the control
panel.
DANGER!
Risk of serious personal injury and damage to property.
Only skilled qualified electricians must make electrical connections.
Skilled qualified electricians are individuals who have sufficient
professional or technical training, knowledge and actual experience to
enable them to work on electrical systems, understand any potential
hazards related to the work under consideration, and recognise and
avoid any risks involved.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Ensure the correct environmental conditions (see technical data) for
storage and transport. Store the product in a dry place and do not
exceed the maximum temperature for storage or handling. The
product will only be protected as long as the packaging is intact.
INSTALLATION
Install X-AIR-CP-2T in a junction box, on a wall inside the room that is
to be controlled. Install the control panel about 1.5 m above the floor
surface. Select an installation location where the control panel is not
affected by disturbances (e.g. radiators, solar gain or draughts).
Ensure that the air can circulate around the control panel. Use the
supplied drill template (see Fig. 2). Fix X-AIR-CP-2T with at least
2 screws; tightening torque: 0.8 Nm max.
Disconnect the touch screen from the casing as shown in Fig. 1.
X-AIR-CP-2T
Remove the cover plate. Once you have installed the device, first put
the cover plate back on, then press the touch screen back onto the
device.
WARNING!
Crushing. Danger of finger crushing when connecting or
disconnecting the touch screen.
IMPORTANT!
Mechanical destruction. Do not exceed the normal tightening torque
as it may damage the control panel beyond repair.
Mechanical destruction. Ensure that the touch screen locks into
A00000046990
place when you attach it to the casing as otherwise it may come loose
and fall down.
Mechanical destruction. Do not use sharp or pointed items on the
touch screen.
CONNECTION
Start wiring only after you have made sure that no voltage is present.
Only one cable is required for both voltage supply and communication
(Modbus-RTU). The control panel is supplied with voltage from the
zone module. Connect the control panel to the zone module with a
6P6C flat cable with RJ12 plug or by connecting the wires to the
terminals. The remaining terminals of X-AIR-CP-2T can be used for
another two active 24V DC sensors with 0-10V DC output
(e.g. X-SENS-CO2-RH):
Connection CH1:
Connection CH2:
The screw terminals are designed for wires of up to 1.0 mm²; not all
terminals have to be used. The cable core identification is shown in
Figs. 3 and 4.
For detailed information on connections refer to www.troxtechnik.com.
WARNING!
Risk of serious personal injury and damage to property.
The device operates on protective extra-low voltage (24 V DC).
Do not connect it to a power source with a different voltage.
