A) Important information – please read carefully
This instruction leaflet describes the assembly and connection of the podisCON
PLUG FCS with two NEMA 5-20 sockets.
WA R NI N G
• Electric installations, placing devices into operation and maintenance tasks may
only be carried out by qualified electricians with relevant training in accident
prevention and while adhering to applicable regulations.
• Protective measures and mechanisms must correspond to applicable regulations.
• Damaged products may neither be installed nor operated.
• The plug connectors may never be connected or removed under load.
B) Function description
• podisCON PLUG FCS with two NEMA 5-20 sockets
• Integrated Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI)
with trip light and Reset and Test button C
• Can be plugged directly into podisCON socket outlet

SA F E T Y I NF O R M A T I O N
The GFCI receptacle does not
not protect against circuit overloads, short circuits or
not

shocks. For example, you can still be shocked if you touch bare wires while
standing on an electrically isolated surface.
Be prepared to take a few minutes to test your work, making sure that you have
wired the flat cable correctly. Then plug the device in the podisCON outlet and turn
the power on.
Press the RESET button fully; if the power is ON, the RESET button should stay in.
Press the TEST button in order to trip the device. If the red indicator light comes on
and the power goes off, the GFCI is working correctly. To restore power, press the
RESET button.
Press the TEST button (then the RESET button) every month to assure proper
operation.
