Eingangskontrolle, Einlagerung
betreiben. Fußmotoren müssen auf einer ebenen Fläche
aufgestellt werden.

Checking and storage
Immediately after receiving the motor, check for any possible
transport damage. Should the motor not be used immediately,
store it in a dry place without major temperature fluctuations. Do
not repeat the high voltage test: it can damage the winding
insulation.
Installation
Install and operate the motor only according to the indicated type
of construction. Foot-mounted motors should be mounted on a
level base. Remove the anticorrosive protection from the shaft
extension and from the flange surface.
Wand
Do not restrict ventilation. Observe the minimum distance required
between the air intake and wall, based on the motor's frame size
as shown in the following table:
Frame size 71 - 100

Ensure the coupling's balance type matches that of the motor, as
indicated on a band on the shaftend. When fitting couplings or belt
mit
discs do not use a hammer because this will damage the
bearings. All motor shaftends are threaded and can be used for
fitting.
